Welcome to the Sun Valley Athletic Booster Club website.  The SVABC is an organization designed to work with the Athletic Department in its efforts to make Sun Valley Athletics the finest in the Southern Carolina 4-A/3-A Conference.  Through the SVABC, parents and friends have the opportunities to contribute to the success of these young men and women both on the playing field and later in life.

The 2012 Sun Valley Spring Sports Banquet will be Monday, May 21st, 6:30pm at SPCC.

The Banquet is for all High School Athletes that participated in a Spring sport and their guests. Dinner is free for the athletes, and $7.00 for guests.

2012 Sun Valley Midget Cheerleading Parent Meeting

A PARENT MEEETING WILL NOW BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 23rd at 7:00pm - **NEW DATE** Sun Valley Middle School Café to provide specifics of the tryout process and season. TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD THE WEEK OF JULY 30th Mandatory Clinics on July 30th, 31st, and Tryouts on August 1st SVABC Cheer Coaching Applications are still being accepted for head coaches and assistant coaches. Please submit your applications, the SVABC will be reviewing them soon. *Please do not call the school office for details. This program is run by Sun Valley Athletic Booster Club and is not sponsored by Sun Valley Middle School.

For all rising 4th to 8th Graders, Sun Valley is proud to announce our 2012 football program. Come join our 2011 conference winning program and play with the best from Union County. This program established and supported by the High School Coaching staff offers the best
environment for kids to learn the game of football.

The Spartans will represent the Sun Valley school system in the Carolina Midget Football Conference. This ten team conference will be comprised of kids from Union County Schools and play at area High School each Saturday. So sign up now and do not miss an opportunity to become part of the Spartan Family.

Union County Midget Football Conference
▪ 6th Grade 2011 Division Champions
▪ 7th Grade 2011 Division Runner Up

Cost for Midget Football:
$325 Sports Fee; includes Games, Practice, Equipment (Game Jersey, Helmet & Shoulder Pads) and Summer Football Camp.

Camp Dates
4th , 5th and 6th Graders – June 25th - 27th (5:30 to 8:00 pm)
7th and 8th Graders – July 9th – 11th (5:30 to 8:00 pm)

Every player must have a UCPS sports participation form ( 2012-13 Preparticipation, Physical, Insurance Form) with SVABC medical release form filled out before you can attend summer camp and first practice. All players must live and attend a UCPS school within the Sun Valley Cluster of schools for the 2012 to 2013 School year and in good standing with UCPS schools.

Registration Dates:
Parents can register online at www.svabc.org starting April 29th until teams are full.
Or, you can register at Sun Valley High School Weight Room 10:00 am to 12 Noon on Saturday May 5th, May 12th and May 19th. (Master Card and Visa accepted)

Practices will start the week of July 23rd and the season will run through October. All practices will be held at Sun Valley High School, 3 nights a week with games on Saturday’s once traditional school starts.
