Welcome to the Sun Valley Athletic Booster Club website.  The SVABC is an organization designed to work with the Athletic Department in its efforts to make Sun Valley Athletics the finest in the Southern Carolina 4-A/3-A Conference.  Through the SVABC, parents and friends have the opportunities to contribute to the success of these young men and women both on the playing field and later in life.

The SVABC meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm in Room #111
(enter the school through the front door by the main office).

All Middle School and High School parents are encouraged to attend.

For all rising 4th to 8th Graders, Sun Valley is proud to announce our 2013 football program. Come join our 2012 conference winning program and play with the best from Union County. This program established and supported by the High School Coaching staff offers the best environment for kids to learn the game of football.

The Spartans will represent the Sun Valley school system in the Carolina Midget Football Conference. This ten team conference will be comprised of kids from Union County Schools and play at area High School each Saturday. So sign up now and do not miss an opportunity to become part of the Spartan Family.

Union County Midget Football Conference

• 8th Grade 2012 Tournament Champions
• 7th Grade 2012 Divisional Champions

Cost for Midget Football

$375 Sports Fee; includes Booster Club Membership, Games, Practice, Equipment (Game Jersey, Helmet & Shoulder Pads) as well as Summer Football Camp.

Summer Camp Dates

• 4th , 5th and 6th Graders – June 3rd - 6th (6:00 to 8:00 pm)
• 7th and 8th Graders – June 10th – 13th (6:00 to 8:00 pm)

Requirements

Every player must have a UCPS sports participation form (Physical and Notarized Medical Waiver) with SVABC medical release form filled out before you can attend summer camp and first practice. All players must live and attend a UCPS school within the Sun Valley Cluster of schools for the 2013 to 2014 School year and in good standing with UCPS schools.

Sports Physicals

Gill Orthopedic will provide $25 sports physicals at TBA for all  Sun Valley Middle School athletes on Wednesday June 5th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Plus, SVABC will provide notary services for all necessary forms needed to participate in all sports programs.

Registration

Parents must attend informational session Wednesday May 15th at 7:00 pm in the SVMS gymnasium to be eligible to participate. All forms and payments must be turned in at Sun Valley High School either Monday June 3rd or June 10th (6pm to 8pm SVHS practice field-during camp)
(Master Card and Visa accepted)

Practice

Practices will start the week of July 22nd and the season will run through October. All practices will be held at Sun Valley High School, 3 nights a week with games on Saturday’s once traditional school starts.
